Angela Leazenby and Orion Satushek were killed on SE Belmont between 43rd – 40th (Orion was dragged for about two blocks) when Lindsey Llaneza drove into them at almost 70 MPH with his van. His blood-alcohol level was about three times the legal limit, and he was a repeat offender.

Caroline Julia Buchalter was also hit, but survived after intensive care treatment.

Llaneza is serving a 20 year prison term as a result of the crash compounded by his driving with a suspended license, and a court awarded the Leazenby family a civil judgement of $500,000 against him.
